An officer in the Islah Party forces said there is an increase in plastic surgeries performed by the wives of officials in the puppet government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, at a time when the Yemeni people are suffering unprecedented human hardship as a result of the war waged by the coalition for the eighth consecutive year.
“He pays $50,000 dollars to beautify the butt of his wife and at the end of the year comes to declare that the Yemeni riyal’s value has deteriorated against the dollar. I swear to God that the Yemeni riyal has not deteriorated except in front of your breeches,” Media officer in the Fifth Military Region Rashid Maarouf said on social media.

The tweet comes as activists have circulated on social media a video of the wife of an official in the puppet government talking to an Egyptian doctor who performed plastic surgery on her.
