Gas cylinder explosion kills family in Hodeidah

A family was killed in the middle of the night when a gas cylinder exploded in their home in Hodeidah governorate, western Yemen.

According to sources, a gas leak occurred in the house of a citizen named Youssef Al-Mazjaji in the Ghulil area of Al-Hawk district, causing explosion and fire, killing his wife and three of their children.

Last week, the Yemen Gas Company blamed Safer for causing the explosion of thousands of household gas cylinders by not adding the “smell” substance to the gas substance, which alerts housewives of a gas leak.
