Sana'a condemns latest violence of coalition mercenaries against Yemeni fishermen

Ministry of Fisheries in Sana’a government on Saturday condemned the Saudi-led coalition mercenaries’ burning of a fisherman’s boat on Al-Qutaba coast of Al-Kokha district in Hodeidah province.

The ministry said in a statement that one of the mercenary leaders barbarically burned the boat of the fisherman, Saeed Abdullah Al-Ahdal, on Friday evening.

“This crime is the third in a row against the fishermen in al-Qutaba area in Khokha, after the mercenaries burned two boats of the fisherman, Hussein Ahmed Zaghifi, last year,” the ministry said.

The ministry’s statement called on all human rights organizations to condemn the continuous violations against fishermen by the coalition mercenaries.

The statement considered the attacks on fishermen, their kidnapping, and the confiscation and burning of their boats “war crimes against humanity” that are not subjected to the statute of limitations.
