The head of the Sana’a Military Committee, Major General Yahya Abdullah Al-Razami, on Tuesday called for the United Nations to force the Saudi-led coalition countries to stop violations, open roads and crossings, and address humanitarian files urgently.
Al-Razami said, during a meeting with the military adviser to the UN envoy to Yemen, General Hayward, “It is not possible to remain silent about the coalition’s ongoing violations since the end of the previous truce.”
He added that Sanaa forces are still committed to restraint in order to establish peace, stressing “if the other side does not have seriousness for peace, then we are ready to respond and deter, as we call for peace, not surrender.”
Major General Al-Razami affirmed that the Yemeni people have the right to enjoy stability and safety and to benefit from their wealth and resources, and the aggressors must stop the continuous looting of Yemen’s wealth.
