A citizen in the port city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition militia, on Friday committed suicide due to the deteriorating living conditions.
Human rights and media sources reported that the recruit “Bashran Abu Wissam”, in his forties, committed suicide in the residential city of “Enmaa”, due to the bad living conditions resulting from the deterioration of the economic situation in the southern provinces.
This came after the pro-coalition government decided last week to raise the customs tariff price from 250 to 750 riyals within the two years, in addition to raising of the prices of oil and gas derivatives and electricity and water tariffs.
It is worth to mention that warnings has been issued by the Sana’a government about the repercussions of such disastrous decisions that will double the suffering of the Yemeni people in all provinces without exception.
The failed economic policies of the pro-coalition government have caused unprecedented economic collapse and the continued deterioration of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies, which greatly affected the lives of citizens and their living conditions.
