A Yemeni academic and politician close to the Sana’a government, Ahmed Almoaiad, commented on reports about the presence of the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, in Sana’a.
The Saudi ambassador was present during the visit of the Omani delegation, according to reports published by an Arab media outlet.
Ahmed Almoaiad tweeted: “The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar talks about the presence of the Saudi ambassador to Sana’a during the negotiations.”

He stressed: “If it is true, Sana’a will have made this ambassador return to his normal size, do his job as an ambassador, and meet the leadership and provide what he has and then leave.”
Almoaiad added, “We will not mention his status with the traitors of the homeland… Beating the dead is a sin.”
Last Tuesday, The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that a Saudi delegation, headed by the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, visited Sana’a following the departure of the Omani delegation, which had engaged in direct negotiations with the Sana’a leadership in order to finalize the new truce agreement.
