Head of the sit-in committee in Mahrah province, Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi, expressed his appreciation for the patriotic stance taken by the free sons of Qishn area, rejecting all conspiracies and ambitions targeting their province.
He sent a letter of thanks to the chairman and members of the Crisis Management Committee in the Qishn National district, regarding their role and the positions they’ve taken in confronting the occupation projects, including the false agreement to establish a sea tongue for mining purposes in the Liban area of Qishn district.
“Despite the occupation’s attempts to promote lies to convince public opinion of the importance of the project to serve the province, the Mahrah people understand that this project only serves the interests and ambitions of the Emirati occupation,” he said in the letter.
Sheikh Al-Huraizi, in his letter, called on all the people of the province, with all their sects and political, tribal and social components, to unite their ranks and stand in the face of everyone who lurks in the province, among it’s people, its goods, its capabilities, its security and stability.
He renewed his pledge to continue the struggle until all the goals and principles of the sit-in committee are achieved.
“since four years of its establishment, the committee has been active in defending national sovereignty, stood by state institutions, and demanded the complete exit of foreign forces from Mahrah, Socotra and all of Yemen,” he stressed.
