A militia member of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) was brutally killed by a citizen in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal on Wednesday, based on testimonies of local sources.
According to the sources, a citizen killed one of the escorts of Captain Alaa Al-Mashriqi, the commander of the Security Belt forces in the district of Sheikh Othman, with an axe.
The citizen landed successive strikes against the soldier, Alaa Ahmed Awad, which led to his head being smashed. The sources claim that the attack took place in front of the education office in the district of Sheikh Othman.
