Head of Pro-Coalition Parliamentarians Denounces Saudi-based News Agency in Letter to Head of Saudi-Coalition Government

The head of the pro-coalition’s parliamentarians (MPs), Sultan al-Barkani, sent a strongly worded message to the head of government, loyal to Saudi-led coalition, Maeen Abdul-Malik, showing the level of disregard facing the pro-coalition MPs in Yemen.

Sultan al-Barakani said in the letter issued on Friday that “The Riyadh-based Saba News Agency”, is deliberately shaping the news of the activities of pro-coalition MPs, through deletion, addition and disregard.”

“The Riyadh-based Saba News Agency deals with the news of pro-coalition MPs with disregard and behaves like a watchdog over them”, according to Al-Barkani’s letter.

In his letter, al-Barakani called on Maeen Abdul Malik to take punitive measures against the pro-coalition Saba Agency.

It is worth mentioning that the pro-coalition MPs have not been able to hold any sessions since joining the coalition.
