Armed clashes broke out Wednesday in Crater area in the center of Aden province, which is controlled by the Saudi-led coalition militia, in southern Yemen.
Local sources confirmed that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia came on board 6 military vehicles to Al-Taweelah neighborhood in the Crater area, in search of what it called a wanted person.
According the sources, the clashes broke out as soon as the militiamen arrived in Al-Taweelah neighborhood, without giving more details.
This comes after clashes erupted last Sunday between the STC factions and the so-called “Security Belt” in Khor Maksar region.
