ISIS Terror Attack in Deir Ezzor Kills Five and Wounds 40

At least five people were killed and more than 40 others were injured in a landmine blast by Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization in Kabajib area in Deir Ezzor southwestern countryside, Syria’s state-run news agency ( SANA) reported.

According to a SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor, a landmine left behind by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists went off near a truck carrying a group of citizens while they were going to search for truffles in Kabajib area in the southwestern countryside.

The reporter added that five people were martyred in the explosion and more than 40 others were injured. The injured were rushed to al-Assad Hospital for treatment.

Director of al-Assad Hospital in Deir Ezzor Dr. Mamoun Hiza, told the SANA reporter that the hospital received more than 45 people, five of whom were martyred and the others sustained wounds of varying severity, one of whom was in critical condition. The necessary first aid was provided to them.
