Two citizens were assassinated on Thursday in two separate operations in Hadhramaut province, estern Yemen
Human rights sources in the province said the one of citizens were killed by unknown gunmen in the areas of Wadi al-Dahab area of the Tarim district, and the other was killed in the center of the city of Shibam in Wadi Hadhramaut.
The sources attributed the return of the assassinations in Wadi Hadhramaut, to the military escalation between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia and the Islah militants in “First Military Region”, amid demands for the Islah exit from all districts of the Wadi and Desert.
