The Land Transport Regulation Authority in Sana’a has denounced the arbitrary measures and extortion against Yemenis Umrah pilgrims and travelers at Al-Wadea land border crossing.
The authority indicated in a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that these arbitrary measures practiced by Saudi-led coalition mercenaries at Al-Wadea land border crossing against Umrah pilgrims and travelers and their deliberate delay in travel procedures under the guidance of the aggression coalition, are contrary to international and humanitarian norms, charters and agreements.
It noted that these arbitrary measures double the suffering of travelers who are departing and arriving through the border crossing.
The statement pointed out that the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government pay great attention to the humanitarian aspect that the aggression and its mercenaries are trying to use as a pressure card.
It considered the procedures followed by the mercenaries and their procrastination in the port of Al-Wadea a crime against humanity.
The authority called on the United Nations to pressure the aggression coalition and its mercenaries to quickly facilitate procedures for Umrah pilgrims and travelers in the port of Al-Wadea.
It held the Saudi-led coalition and its mercenaries responsible for the great suffering endured by Umrah pilgrims and travelers at Al-Wadea land border crossing.
