Yemeni ambassador to Syria: Yemen’s hands remains stretched out for just peace

Yemen’s ambassador to Syria, Abdullah Sabri has confirmed on Sunday that “Yemen’s hand is extended for a just and honourable peace.”

In a speech during the National Resilience Day festival, Sabri stressed that Yemen’s relationship with Palestine and the resistance factions gained added importance with the period of the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

“We gather today Yemenis, Syrians and Palestinians within the framework of the axis of resistance with all honorable Arabs and Muslims,” he said. “The Syrian steadfastness, as well as the Yemeni steadfastness, was the other side of the Palestinian heyday, the heroics of its resistance and the sacrifices of its people.”

The Yemeni ambassador to Damascus renewed the demand for lifting the siege and sanctions imposed on Syria, welcoming every Arab, Islamic or international effort that contributes to easing the siege.
