Hadi's request for Umrah rejected, remains under house arrest in Saudi Arabia

Saudi authorities rejected a request made by the fugitive Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi to perform Umrah, according to “Akhbar Al-Youm” newspaper affiliated with General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar.

The newspaper said Riyadh refused to grant Hadi, whom it has been holding since April, a permission to perform Umrah.

This comes a month after Saudi intelligence refused to lift the house arrest imposed on Hadi since Riyadh formed the so-called Leadership Council in early April, and allow him to travel to America for treatment.
