Supreme Political Council of Yemen lauds prisoner exchange set to free 706 captives

The Supreme Political Council in its meeting on Friday, chaired by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, blessed the recent prisoner exchange agreement to free 706 captives, and the issuance of a law to prevent usurious transactions.

In the meeting, the Council discussed the latest internal and political developments, and the recent negotiations.

At the international arena, the Council condemned the repeated abuses against the Noble Quran, including the burning of the Noble Quran in Denmark. It directed the National Salvation Government to prevent the entry of products from countries that allow offense to the Holy Quran.

The Council also condemned the Zionist enemy’s attacks on Damascus and Palestine.
