A car exploded on Thursday in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen.
This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on the testimonies of local sources.
According to local sources, the car was parked near the fish market .
It is believed that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), which led to the burning and destruction of the vehicle, the sources said.
No casualties have been reported as the street was empty of pedestrians.
