Member of the national negotiating delegation, Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, commented on that the escalations by the Emirati-backed factions in Aden.
Al-Ajri said on Twitter that the escalatory steps, which were announced by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), are “a complete coup against the entity of the Republic of Yemen, that cannot take place without a green light from the coalition countries.”

“The arrangement for the return of the leaders of the STC with the goal of preparing for this escalation in the context of the existing negotiating atmosphere and the good endeavours of the Sultanate of Oman during the last period, raises question marks about the inner will [of the coalition] that do not reflect good intentions towards the existing understandings and towards Yemen and its unity,” he added.
Al-Ajri called on the coalition countries to declare a clear position on the recent moves by the STC forces.
