Media outlets reported that deaths have been recorded as a result of the collapse of the electricity system in the most prominent stronghold of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia.
“Cratersky” quoted medical sources claiming that deaths had been recorded, especially among patients.
The sources indicated that the deaths are the result of power outages that last for hours.
The electricity system in Aden recently collapsed, causing power outages for five out of every six hours, or an average of 20 hours throughout the entire day.
Electricity is one of several sectors that have been completely collapsed amid disagreements over revenues between the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition and the local STC authority.
The system collapsed again as the pro-coalition government left the city.
