The UAE forces and the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia carried out unprecedented deployment in a number of streets in the city of Hadibo in the occupied Island of Socotra. They set up several new checkpoints, Media sources reported.
This coincided with the return of Islah in Socotra, where they organized a meeting of the party’s Shura Committee, amid news of a Saudi green light to re-establish themselves on the island.
The sources explained that the Emirati alert in Socotra comes within the framework of confronting the return of the Saudi incursion through Islah, similar to the Shabwah scenario, where Riyadh seeks to spread its factions under the cover of the Islah party.
