Document reveals five Yemenis imprisoned in UAE for past seven years

An official document revealed that the authorities in the UAE have been holding 5 Yemenis on trumped-up political charges for the past 7 years.

Media outlets published the leaked document issued by the Federal Supreme Court, State Security Department in the UAE.

The document reveals the trial of 5 Yemeni citizens, who were identified as Abdul Malik Muhammad Al-Mukhnaqi, Abdullah Muhammad Attia, Salah Salem Mahjoub, Fadl Ahmed Al-Jaridi, Abdul Rahman Muhammad Abd Rabbo Al-Sayyad.

The document did not mention the charges on which they are imprisoned.

It also showed the trial of an Omani citizen named Ghulam Abdullah al-Balushi.

It is noteworthy that the UAE has forcibly abducted dozens of Yemenis on malicious charges over the past years, especially those who oppose UAE plans for southern Yemen.
