Islah Party militias increase activity against southern Yemeni separatists

The Islah Party continues to escalate militarily against the UAE-affiliated factions in Shabwah province, eastern Yemen, informed sources said on Saturday.

The sources said that dozens of members of the Ataq axis, loyal to the Islah party, arrived at the Islah camps in Jardan district, near the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwah

This coincides with the mobilization of the party’s elements in Bayhan district during the funeral of the leading member of the party, Abdullah Al-Bani, who was killed on the morning of Eid Al-Fitr by the UAE-funded “Shabwah Defense Forces.”

The sources indicated that the new reinforcements would join the military units that the Islah party is preparing for the attack on Ataq.
