Saudi-backed official prepares for armed battle with STC in Hadhramaut

Saghir bin Aziz, the Chief of Staff in the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, is conducting intensive movements in Mahrah governorate to besiege the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Hadhramaut, informed sources confirmed

The sources explained that bin Aziz held a meeting in the city of Al-Ghaydah with the Commend of the axis, Mohsen Ali Marsaa Al-Kazimi, and a number of axis commanders, in which he warned them against being dragged into the STC plan to overthrow the province.

In preparation for an expected confrontation with factions loyal to the UAE, Bin Aziz directed the disbursement of large sums of money to the commander of the axis, as well as weapons and ammunition from the warehouses of the first military region.

He called for preparing for a decisive battle in Hadhramaut in the event that the STC forces launched any attack on the first military region loyal to the Islah party in the valley and desert districts.
