Four members of the “Shabwah Defence Forces,” loyal to the UAE, were killed and several others wounded in an attack with a RPG rocket on a military post in Shabwah province, eastern Yemen.
Informed sources said that the attack took place in the Al-Musina’a area of Al-Saeed district on Tuesday evening, and was followed by clashes with various types of weapons.
This comes after the Shabwah Defence Forces announced a curfew in the area at night.
The sources added that the attacking elements withdrew to the mountains surrounding the area, while the Shabwah Defence forces carried out a combing operation in the vicinity of the area in search of the terrorist elements.
