The head of the Yemeni negotiating military committee, Major General Yahya Abdullah Al-Razami, has overseen a direct exchange deal between Riyadh and Sana’a for the bodies of Yemeni and Saudi soldiers.
This deal comes after previous consultations that lasted for weeks and were under the direct guidance of the leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi.
The number of bodies that were exchanged reached 64, including 56 bodies of Sana’a forces and six bodies of Saudi forces.
Field committees specialised in this aspect had been formed to complete more body exchange deals between the two parties on the current fronts.
This is not the first operation to exchange corpses, as it was preceded by several operations that were not announced, and it will not be the last, according to what was announced by the committee.
