Official in coalition backed government killed by his brother in Mocha

An official in the local authority affiliated with the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition was killed in Mocha city west of Taiz province in southern Yemen on Sunday.

According to local media sources, Sheikh Khalid Qassem Mahdi Al-Shuja’, a member of the Mocha district’s local council, was slain by his brother Jameel in the “Al-Zahari” neighborhood due to family disputes.

The killer handed himself in to pro-coalition security forces after murdering his brother, the sources added.
