The UAE has accused the president of the “Presidential Leadership Council” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, Rashad al-Alimi, of implementing agendas of terrorist groups.
Khaled Al-Shamiri, head of the Emirati Center for Political Studies, asserted that Al-Alimi practices the same policy as the Brotherhood, under the guidance of terrorist groups to attack the Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions.
On his Twitter account today, Al-Shamiri said that “Attacking the STC factions aims to put pressure on it.”
This comes after Al-Alimi instructed the Saudi-funded “Dera Al-Watan” forces to remove the flags and pictures of the STC’s head, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, from public places in the city of Mukalla, after his arrival in the city on Saturday
