Citizens in Mukalla confront Head of Presidential Leadership Council loyal to the Saudi-led coalition

On Sunday, Citizens in Mukalla, Hadhramaut governorate, chanted angry slogans at Rashad al-Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

Activists documented citizens calling Al-Alimi a “thief” in the streets of Mukalla.

The chants revealed great popular discontent in areas theoretically controlled by the government loyal to the coalition. These areas are suffering from serious economic and living standard collapses.

On Friday, citizens tore down pictures and large banners of al-Alimi in the main streets of Mukalla city.
