Violent explosions on Saturday shook the Sha’ab area in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalitions factions.
According to local sources, the explosions took place in an ammunition depot belonging to the Security Belt Forces affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), in the Sha’ab Camp, without recording casualties.
The sources attributed the causes of the explosion, which occurred in one of the weapons depots, to a short circuit.
The explosions caused a state of panic and terror among the people near the camp, one of the sources said, adding that shell fragments flew from the scene to various areas, but no injuries have been reported among citizens so far.
This comes after a number of cultural and societal components in Aden demanded the removal of the coalition factions’ camps from the city.
