Unidentified gunmen stormed the house of the former commander of the “Security Belt Forces” in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalitions forces.

According to informed sources, the gunmen believed to be affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions stormed the house of the security commander Waddah Omar Abdulaziz, during the early hours of Saturday in the neighborhood of Al-Mamdara in the Sheikh Othman district and tampered with its contents.

The sources confirmed that the gunmen looted a car that was at the house in addition to the surveillance cameras and headed to an unknown destination.

The same sources explained that the raid came while the commander Abdulaziz was with his family outside the house.

It is noteworthy that the commanders of the STC previously ousted Waddah Omar Abdulaziz, one of the sons of the city of Aden, from command of the “Security Belt Forces”, and appointed Jalal Al-Rubaie Al-Yafei in early 2021 AD .
