Yemeni Defence Minister lauds successes of domestic military production

The Yemeni Minister of Defence, Major General Muhammad Nasser Al-Atifi, has confirmed on Monday that the Yemeni Armed Forces have achieved great achievements and successes in military manufacturing.

This came during his visit today to soldiers stationed on the fronts of Qataba, Damt, Joban, and Al-Hasha in Dhalea province.

Major General Al-Atifi called on Saudi Arabia and the UAE to “stop tempering in the occupied provinces,” indicating that the aggression coalition countries “would not enjoy security and stability unless it was achieved in Yemen.”

“The Yemeni armed forces have reached a large percentage of self-sufficiency, from Kalashnikov rifles to long-range strategic ballistic missiles and drones,” Major General Al-Atifi said.

He pointed out that Yemen “will not remain the backyard of Saudi-led coalition countries,” stressing that “the time has come to restore a strong, civilised, influential, and active Yemen.”

The Minister of Defence noted that “the Yemeni people will not accept anything less than leadership, strength, and equality,” confirming that “Yemen and its wise leadership have the final word that must be heard.”

He stated that “the three thousand days of aggression against Yemen proved the failure of the aggressors to achieve any of their goals in undermining the stability and steadfastness of the people, their armed forces, and their supreme revolutionary, political, and military leadership.”
