At least one civilian killed in Saudi bombing of border region

A civilian was killed on Tuesday as a result of Saudi bombing on border areas in northern Yemen, a security source said.

Saudi artillery launched intense shelling on populated areas in the border district of Shada, which resulted in the death of a civilian, in addition to damage to the property of citizens, according to the source.

The border district of Shada witnessed, since the beginning of last week, violent missile and artillery bombardment, accompanied by air strikes by warplanes, which left a number of deaths and wounded, as well as material losses in the homes and properties of civilians.
