Unknown gunmen shot and killed an official in World Food Program (WFP) in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, media sources reported on Friday.
According to the sources, Mr. Moayyad Saeed Hameidi, the head of WFP office had been killed in Al-Torbuh city, which is under the control of Islah militants.
The sources confirmed that the gunmen shot and killed him while he was eating lunch in a restaurant on his way to Taiz for humanitarian and relief purposes.
This incident comes only shortly after international organizations decided to open an official office to organize their humanitarian works.
