The city of Al-Khawkha, Hodeidah governorate, witnessed a gruesome murder of a mentally ill man who was tortured to death by armed elements affiliated with the UAE.
Activists on social media reported that the mentally ill “Abdul Rahman Thabet Amin” from the Maqbanah district of Taiz governorate was killed under brutal torture in the prisons of the Saudi-led coalition forces in the city of Al-Khawkha.
According to the activists, the man was kidnapped by the coalition forces stationed on the outskirts of Maqbanah district, and transferred to the city of Al-Khawkha on charges of espionage for Islah elements.
They confirmed that the coalition forces threw the body in the mortuary of Al-Khawkha Hospital.
