Russia vows severe retaliation for Ukrainian attacks on Crimea and Moscow

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Monday that Russia reserves the right to take strict measures in response to the Ukrainian drone attacks against Moscow and Crimea.

In a statement reported by the Russian news agency “Tass” the ministry stressed that “the Russian side reserves the right to take strict response measures.”

The statement pointed out that Ukraine had already claimed responsibility for these attacks, adding that the Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fyodorov, had publicly confirmed the involvement of Volodymyr Zelensky’s regime in this matter and that Kiev would continue such attacks and their number would increase.

The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Russia considers the Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow and the Crimea peninsula further evidence of Kiev’s use of terrorist methods.

Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had thwarted a terrorist attack by two Ukrainian drones on two buildings in Moscow.
