Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Al-Houthi, commented on Saudi Arabia’s announcement to support the economy in the Yemen’s southern areas with an amount of $1.2 billion.
In a tweet, Al-Houthi said the support provided by Saudi Arabia is nothing but the salaries and operational cost paid to mercenaries affiliated with its Special Committee and the military militias affiliated with US-Saudi aggression.

He explained that the Saudi support will further weaken the economy of Yemen, and only influential people in the occupied territories are benefiting from it.
“The international community has a great task to end the aggression and siege on the Yemeni people, listening to the people’s issue, and paying the salaries of employees,” he said.
