National Salvation Government warns United States against any further interventions in Yemen

The National Salvation Government based in Sana’a, on Wednesday sent again a stern warning to the American forces in the Red Sea.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Sana’a government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, confirmed in a press statement that the arrival of an American combat force at this sensitive time in the region does not serve peace, not to mention the safety of navigation in the Red Sea.

“We are at war with America, and it is important that no one miscalculate, and we warned the American side out of concern for the safety of navigation in the Red Sea,” Al-Ezzi said.

He pointed out that the safety of navigation in the Red Sea, a vital passage for the whole world, requires avoiding military provocations from any party.

“The new Middle East project has practically fallen due to the consciousness of the peoples of the region, and the Americans must revise their plans,” he added.

For his part, the Commander of the Coastal Defense Forces in the Sanaa forces, Major General Muhammad al-Qadri, said: “We have been monitoring the American force since its entry into the Suez Canal, and if those forces approach our territorial waters, we are ready to respond and deter.”

Major General Al-Qadri affirmed that the military presence of the American and Zionist forces in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab is provocative.

He pointed out that the Yemeni navy worked during the armistice and de-escalation to build and develop its capabilities in an unprecedented way and prepared surprises for the enemy.

On Monday, Al-Ezzi had sent a warning message to the American forces, saying: “For international peace and security and the preservation of safe navigation in the Red Sea, American forces must stay away from our territorial waters because any approach could mean the beginning of the longest and most costly battle in human history.”
