Evgeny Kudrov, chargé d’affaires of the Russian Embassy in Yemen, affirmed his country’s readiness to support all efforts made by the UN envoy in Yemen to revive the peace process.
During a meeting between two sides in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, The ambassador said that he informed the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, of Moscow’s principled position regarding the need for dialogue, and taking into account the views of all conflicting parties without exception, to push towards a settlement in Yemen.
“Today I had a useful and productive meeting with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg. We discussed a number of topical issues of the Yemeni settlement, including the latest developments on the ground,” Evgeny Kudrov said in tweet on Wednesday.
