A violent explosion occurred in Ma’rib province on Friday as part of a series of explosive attacks attacking military patrols belonging to the Islah Party (a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate).
This particular device was planted at the eastern entrance of Ma’rib city, and exploded while a military vehicle carrying Islah militants was passing by, local sources said.
According to the sources, the explosion resulted in damage to the military vehicle, without any casualties behind confirmed.
During the past months, the targeting of military vehicles has escalated in Ma’rib province in light of the inter-conflicts between various pro-coalition mercenary factions.
