Deputy Foreign Minister calls end of blockade on Yemen important start for peace talks

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the National Salvation Government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, stressed on Sunday that lifting the blockade and recovering looted funds is “an important entry point for sustainable peace.”

Al-Ezzi said in a post on the “X” platform, “All funds and property registered abroad for the benefit of senior mercenary leaders and their families, whether in their names or in any other names, including companies, investments, real estate, balances, etc., are looted funds and must be returned because they are exclusive rights of the Yemeni people.”

“I am surprised how they can enjoy money that they know that they stole from us as a people and a country,” he added.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Yemeni people have the most just cause on earth because they are facing the most degenerate, corrupt, and terroristic forces in history and are confronting an international community that suffers from a terrible absence of conscience and morals.

He affirmed that creating an initiative to recover looted funds is a wonderful and noble endeavor that serves peace.
