An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 on the Richter scale has struck the Gulf of Aden region in southern Yemen.
Seismic and volcano monitoring centers said the quake, which hit the Eastern Gulf of Aden off the coast of Somalia and Yemen, was located at depth of 10 km.

The centers reported that epicenter was 260 km from the city of Mukalla.
