On Sunday evening, UAE-backed armed groups stormed Al-Maashiq presidential Palace in the city of Aden, south Yemen.
Local sources affirmed that al-Amaliqa forces (Giants Brigade), led by Abd al-Rahman al-Mahrami, stormed the Palace and prevented the exit of any employee from the office of the head of the pro-coalition government, using various armed personal to surround the palace.
The storming of Al-Ma’ashiq Palace came as a result of a dispute between Al-Mahrami, who holds the position of deputy of the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council, and the head of Aden government, Moeen Abdul-Malik, over files and decisions related to the banking sector
