Aden Refineries Company accused of violating employee rights, targeting trade union

The General Federation of Trade Unions has accused Aden Refineries Company’s administration of suspending the salaries of the company’s trade union committee council members for five months.

The committee warns, in a statement issued on Saturday, the administration of the consequences of its irresponsible actions towards the presidency and members of the union committees council.

The union confirmed that the company suspended the salaries for not implementing the transfer order and closing the union headquarters last week.

The statement warned the company administration against violating employee rights and called it to revise its actions.

The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) accuses the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition led by Moeen Abdul-Malik of disrupting Aden refineries in favor of merchants and influential persons.
