President Mashat: "Sinmar Jane" and "Bolivar" ships will be struck if they enter Aden port to loot gas

Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, has threatened to strike ships trying to dock in Yemeni ports to loot oil.

This came during his speech in an extended meeting in Amran governorate, on Wednesday.

“We informed the companies that own the “Sinmar Jane” and “Bolivar” ships that we will strike them if they enter to loot gas from the port of Aden, and we are ready to do so,” he said.

This is the first time that the Sana’a government has exposed foreign moves to loot gas through the port of Aden, following warning strikes carried out by Sanaa forces on the ports of Al-Dabba and Al-Nashima in October and November last year.
