Chinese company demands over 70 million dollars in tardy payment from Aden puppet government

A Chinese company has demanded that the Yemeni puppet government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition pay more than $70 million, a remaining amount due to it for maintaining Aden refineries since 2019.

The Yemeni Press Agency learned from private sources that the cost of maintaining the Aden refineries is $180 million, and only $110 million has been paid to the contracted Chinese company since 2019.

The sources confirmed that the Chinese company was unable to continue its work due to the security conditions in Aden, and has been demanding compensation from the government due to the cessation of its work in recent years.
