One of the dignitaries of the Obaida tribe was killed on Sunday by members of the Saudi-led coalition’s factions in the city of Ma’rib, sources said.
According to the sources, the gunmen at a military point affiliated with Islah factions shot Sheikh Mohammed Mohsen al-Obaidi from the Hatik Obaida tribe in the Jaw al-Naseem area, east of Ma’rib city, and killed him instantly.
It is still unknown why pro-Islah militants killed him, one of the sources said.
The areas, which are under the control of Islah factions in the city of Marib and the valley have been witnessing insecurity and chaos amid a wide spread of takfiri elements who use those areas as training camps for their members
