Minister of Defence warns that enemy movements in Yemeni territorial waters remain a threat

The Yemeni Minister of Defence, Major General Muhammad Nasser Al-Atifi, sent on Wednesday an urgent message to the Yemeni revolutionary leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and the Supreme Political Council regarding foreign military movements in Yemeni territorial waters.

The letter stated, “Despite the political movement and regional and international efforts to move the wheel of peace forward, there are a number of challenges imposed by the forces of evil represented by America, the Zionist entity, Britain and their henchmen in the region and their agents at home.”

The defence minister pointed out that these military movements of the naval vessels of those forces or the military presence in some of the occupied provinces “are a clear indication that they have no intention of peace and that what is happening is a political maneuver pursued by the Greater Evil, and carried out by agents without restrictions or conditions.”

He added, “In line with these facts and based on our religious, jihadi and national duty, we have prepared for confrontation, and we warn the enemies and repeat that our territorial waters are a red line, and that they will exit every inch of our land with their heads bowed, just like their ancestors departed before.”

This message came as part of a congratulatory letter sent by the Minister of Defence and the Chief of the General Staff to the Leader on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.
