Deputy Foreign Minister of Yemen calls on domestic opponents to not stand in the way of peace

Deputy Foreign Minister of the National Salvation Government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, has on Friday called on local opponents not to obstruct the peace process.

Al-Ezzi said in a tweet on the “X” platform that “Sana’a’s problem with local opponents is their joining with foreign forces against their country and people, and their involvement in corruption and terrorism.”

He added that “by them leaving this behaviour, the main problem would end, and a supportive atmosphere would be created for a Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue that ends any other problems.”

Al-Ezzi confirmed Yemen’s keenness to make lasting peace with neighbouring countries, calling on local opponents not to obstruct this step.
