Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi announces new program of radical reform

The Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, announced on Wednesday the first stage of radical change to reform a government of national competencies that embodies national partnership.

This came during his speech that delivered to the crowds of Yemenis celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The leader al-Houthi stressed the importance of re-correcting the status of the judiciary, addressing imbalances, and supplying it with qualified cadres of Islamic Sharia scholars and academics.

He also stressed adherence to national partnership, the Islamic concept of Shura, and the unity of the Yemeni people, in additional to the general concept of responsibility in which roles are complementary.

“We will continue to keep pace with the process of radical change until the completion of the first stage,” Sayyid Aa-Houthi added. “We will work to correct the situation with honest advice and wise concern for our people whom we seek to serve.”

Regarding the Saudi-led aggression on Yemen, Sayyid Abdul-Malik renewed his call to the coalition to end the war, lift siege and stop depriving the Yemeni people of wealth.

“I advise the aggression coalition to end its aggression and siege and stop depriving our people of their oil and gas wealth, which they desperately need in terms of salaries, health, education, and service needs,” Sayyid Abdul-Malik said.

He also called on the coalition to end the occupation and complete the war files, warning of the consequences of its insistence on continuing its hostile policy.

The leader affirmed Yemen’s firm adherence to its nation’s major issues, and its condemnation of all forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy, as well as its principled, religious and moral stance to stand along with the Palestinian people and the resistance movements from the free people of the nation and the axis of resistance.
