Civilian killed in armed clashes in Shabwah

A citizen was killed Saturday in armed confrontations in Shabwah province, which is under the control of Saudi-led coalition factions in eastern Yemen.

Local sources in the province reported that tribal militants from Al Dhaif Allah and others from Al-Magareha area clashed in the Thahba area of the Usaylan district, leading to the killing of Saleh bin Ali Al-Dhaifli.

The clashes stopped after the militants withdrew without intervention from UAE-affiliated “Shabwah Defense” factions, the sources added.

The districts of Shabwah are experiencing security chaos and a raging conflict between tribesmen supported by the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
